Inspired by the natural movement and energy of fish in water, this large sculpture is individually cut, beaten and formed by hand from Grade 316 stainless steel in my Lincolnshire studio. Its textured and polished surface responds to the changing light, revealing different patterns and details as it is viewed from different positions.
Measuring approximately 50–70cm long, the sculpture creates a striking focal point within a garden, courtyard or contemporary interior. It can be displayed individually or combined with other fish to form a larger flowing shoal designed around a particular landscape, wall or architectural space.
The standard sculpture is formed from a single sheet of stainless steel and supplied with a stake for positioning in the garden. A wall-mounted version or fully three-dimensional fish can also be created on request.
