Inspired by the natural movement of fish through water, this medium-sized sculpture is individually cut, beaten and formed by hand from Grade 316 stainless steel in my Lincolnshire studio. Textured and polished details catch the changing light, creating a strong sense of movement across its surface.
At approximately 30–50cm long, the sculpture has enough presence to create a focal point on its own while also working beautifully within a larger shoal. Different sizes can be combined, with the shape, direction and spacing of the group designed around a particular garden, wall or architectural setting.
The standard sculpture is formed from a single sheet of stainless steel and supplied with a stake for positioning in the garden. A wall-mounted version or fully three-dimensional fish can also be commissioned.
